Possessing a wide range of skills In Security Risk Management, Business Continuity and Fraud Investigation, both in the public and private sector. Very resourceful and discrete.
The backround of 20 years in the Hampshire Constabulary, including heading a Fraud Investigation unit, was followed by a Corporate Security role with a major blue chip defence contractor operating on a world wide basis. Achievements during this period included:
• Investigated major frauds and conducted sensitive enquiries within the Company.
• Liaised with British & Foreign Security Services, Law Enforcement Agencies and Security Contractors.
• Devised and implemented security awareness programs.
• Produced security policies and procedures based on the Manual of Protective Security.
• Liaised with HMG security adviser on List X and MPS issues.
• Managed the security integration issues for several takeover situations.
• Carried out security audits and risk reviews at sites in the UK and Overseas.
• Developed a commercial security infrastructure for the Australian subsidiaries, including business continuity plans.
• Developing a security infrastructure for worldwide sales offices.
• Production of procedures and plans for dealing with Crisis Management and personnel evacuation for Overseas Offices.
• Provided threat assessments to senior management regarding UK and Overseas offices and events.
